Bhavnagra mirch is shallow fried with indian spices, a gujarati cuisine, do not over cook the vegetable and avoid red chillie powder in it as the dish is in itself very spicy, In occasions/parties it goes well.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Bhavnagra mirch 250gm
  2. oil 2 tablespoon
  3. hing a pinch
  4. Dry kashmiri red chillies 2-3
  5. cumin seeds 1/2teaspoon
  6. Mustard seeds 1/4teaspoon
  7. Fennel seeds 1/4teaspoon (saunf)
  8. amchur powder 1/4teaspoon
  9. Garam masala powder 1/4teaspoon
  10. turmeric powder 1/4teaspoon
  11. salt to taste
  12. Red chillie powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS USED
  2. TAKE A NON STICK PAN, ADD OIL, SPREAD ALL OVER
  3. TAKE A SMALL KATORI/PLATE, ADD JEERA, SAUNF, AND MUSTARD SEEDS ALL TOGETHER
  4. PUT THIS IN OIL, ADD DRY KASHMIRI RED CHILLIES ALSO, TOSS WELL
  5. ADD A PINCH HING
  6. ADD BHAVNAGRA MIRCH (CUT IN 1 INCH SIZE), TOSS WELL
  7. WHEN IT GETS SOFT, IT WILL LOOK LIKE THIS
  8. TAKE OUT SPICES IN A KATORI/PLATE... SALT, TURMERIC POWDER , GARAM MASALA POWER AND AMCHUR POWDER
  9. PUT THIS SPICE INSIDE THE PAN, TOSS WELL
  10. DO NOT OVER COOK THE VEGETABLE
  11. TAKE OUT IN A SERVING DISH, SERVE HOT
  12. FINALLY MIRCHI FRY IS READY
