ABOUT Matar paneer roti sandwich RECIPE

This is grilled roti sandwich were I have used green peas (mutter) and cottage cheese (paneer) stuffing in roti , I have used here whole wheat flour for roti , this is healthier option for those who do not eat maida /all purpose flour , best for kiddos who are bored of eating roti sabzi , you can serve these as starter also friends lets make this grilled roti sandwich

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. whole wheat flour 3 cups
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Ghee 2tsp
  4. Water to knead the dough
  5. Green peas 1cup
  6. Paneer 1cup
  7. 1Capsicum finely chopped
  8. 1Onion finely chopped
  9. 1Tomato finely chopped
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1Tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1Tsp kitchen king masala
  14. 1Tsp aamchur powder
  15. 2Tsp butter
  16. 1Tsp cummin seeds
  17. 1Tsp grated ginger
  18. 1Tsp crushed garlic

Instructions

  1. ADD SALT TO TASTE AND 2TSP OF GHEE IN 3CUPS OF WHEAT FLOUR
  2. ADD WATER AND KNEAD THE SEMI SOFT DOUGH
  3. COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 15-20 MINUTES
  4. IN A PAN ADD BUTTER
  5. ADD CUMIN SEEDS 1TSP,1TSP CRUSHED GINGER , AND 1TSP CRUSHED GARLIC
  6. ADD CHOPPED GREEN CHILLYS AND 1FINELY CHOPPED ONIONS
  7. ADD 1/2 TSP KITCHEN KING MASALA 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER AND RED CHILLY POWDER
  8. ADD 1EACH FINELY CHOPPED CAPSICUM AND TOMATO
  9. ADD SALT TO TASTE AND LEMON JUICE AND 1CUP BOILED GREEN PEAS
  10. ADD DRY MANGO POWDER (AAMCHUR POWDER )
  11. FINALLY ADD PANEER CUBES
  12. MIX IT THOROUGHLY
  13. DIVIDE DOUGH IN 2PORTION AND SPRINKLE DRY WHEAT FLOUR ON PLATFORM, ROLL A DOUGH IN DRY FLOUR
  14. ROLL IT IN BIG CHAPPATI
  15. CUT IT EVENLY TO MAKE EQUAL STRIPES
  16. REMOVE EXTRA DOUGH FROM SIDES
  17. APPLY BUTTER ON TWO STRIPES
  18. PLACE STUFFING OVER ONE STRIPES
  19. SPRINKLE SOME GRATED CHEESE OVER IT
  20. COVER IT WITH ANOTHER STRIPE
  21. PRESS ALL THE SIDES WITH FORK SO THAT IT GETS SEAL
  22. APPLY BUTTER ON GRILLED PLATE
  23. PLACE STUFFED ROTI SANDWICH ON GRILL PLATE AND APPLY BUTTER
  24. COVER AND LET IT BECOME CRISP AND GOLDEN
  25. FLIP AND COOK FROM OTHER SIDE TOO
  26. COVER AND COOK FROM OTHER SIDE TOO
  27. REMOVE IT
  28. CUT IT INTO PIECES
  29. SERVE IT WITH SAUCES
