Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Brown rice starchy water 2 tbs
  2. Cooked rice 2 tsp
  3. Chopped watermelon rind 1 cup
  4. Chopped onion 1/2 cup
  5. Bread slices 2
  6. salt to taste
  7. Crushed pepper 1 tsp
  8. jaggery small gooseberry sized
  9. lemon juice 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. WHEN THE BROWN RICE COMPLETELY COOK, COLLECT THE STARCHY WATER 2 TBS AND 2 TSP OF COOKED RICE.
  2. CHOP WATERMELON RIND INTO SMALL PIECES, KEEP ASIDE
  3. PEEL AND CHOP ONION, KEEP ASIDE
  4. REMOVE THE BROWN EDGES OF BREAD SLICES AND CUT INTO 4 PARTS, KEEP ASIDE
  5. CRUSH PEPPER
  6. POUR THE COOLED STARCHY WATER ALONG RICE AND WATERMELON RIND INTO MIXIE JAR
  7. GRIND SMOOTHLY
  8. HEAT GHEE
  9. ADD BREAD PIECES AND FRY
  10. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN AND KEEP ASIDE
  11. HEAT GHEE AND FRY CHOPPED ONION
  12. FRY TILL TENDER AND KEEP ASIDE
  13. NOW POUR THE GROUND MIXTURE
  14. ADD SALT, JAGGERY AND CRUSHED PEPPER
  15. BRING IT TO BOIL AND ADD FRIED ONION
  16. SQUEEZE LEMON
  17. POUR INTO SERVING BOWL, ADD FRIED BREAD SLICES AND SERVE
