ABOUT Green Gram Drained Water Rasam RECIPE

Green gram is good for health. It keeps our body cool. We are using the cooked green gram for palyam, usli and so on. The drained water contains vitamin. It's rasam is so tasty along rice.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Green gram drained water 2-3 cup
  2. salt to taste
  3. jaggery syrup 1-2 tsp
  4. turmeric powder a pinch
  5. lemon juice 2 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  7. For seasoning...
  8. Mustard seeds 1*2 tsp
  9. Red chilli 1 broken
  10. Cooking oil 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. BOIL THE SOAKED GREEN GRAM
  2. NOW IT IS COOKED
  3. DRAIN THE WATER
  4. DO THE SEASONING, ADD COOKED GREEN GRAM DRAINED WATER
  5. ADD ASAFOETIDA
  6. ADD JAGGERY SYRUP, SALT AND CHILLI POWDER
  7. TURMERIC POWDER, LEMON JUICE
  8. LET IT BE BOIL FINELY AND POUR INTO A SERVING BOWL
