ABOUT Bajra Lassan Churma/Laddoo RECIPE

A traditional dish from the deserts of Gujarat & Rajasthan. Can be made with chunks of fresh bajra roti, but i made with leftover roti.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Leftover bajra roti 2
  2. Desi ghee 2 tsp
  3. Small bunch of green garlic chives
  4. salt to taste

Instructions

  1. TEAR THE BAJRE KI ROTI & PLACE IN A MIXIE JAR
  2. GRIND IT TO A FINE MIXTURE
  3. TEXTURE SHOULD BE LIKE BREADCRUMBS
  4. WASH & CHOP THE GREEN GARLIC
  5. HEAT GHEE IN A PAN
  6. TO THIS ADD THE CHOPPED GARIC
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE
  8. SAUTE FOR A MINUTE ON MEDIUM FLAME
  9. WHEN THE GARLIC IS FRAGRANT, ADD THE BAJRA ROTI CRUMBS
  10. MIX IT WELL & SAUTE ON HIGH FOR A MINUTE
  11. NOW COVER THE PAN & SIMMER FOR 2-3 MINUTES
  12. AND ITS DONE. SERVE WARM AS CHURMA
  13. OR ALLOW THE MIXTURE TO COOL COMPLETELY & MAKE LADDOOS
