ABOUT Leftover Bhindi Fry Fritters... RECIPE

An amazingly done crispy fritters that are actually made with the leftover bhindi fry. Since it is already a leftover, the use of spices should be done accordingly. A yummy tea-time snack or even a perfect brunch idea for the people on the go. This can be made in just a few minutes with simple pantry staples that are available in every Indian kitchen. Crispy and melt in mouth, deliciously crunchy to the last bite, these can be a crowd pleaser. Happy Frying !!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Gram flour 1 cup
  2. Leftover okra fry 2/3rd cup
  3. Onion medium sized sliced thinly 3
  4. Asafoetida 1/8th tsp
  5. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  8. coriander powder 1 tsp
  9. Baking soda 1/8th tsp
  10. Curry leaves chopped 1/4th cup
  11. Oil for frying 3 cups

Instructions

  1. GATHER ALL THE INGREDIENTS AT FIRST
  2. ADD 2/3RD CUP OF LEFTOVER OKRA FRY TO A BOWL ALONG WITH 3 SLICED ONIONS
  3. NOW ADD A CUP OF GRAM FLOUR OR BESAN NEXT FOLLOWED BY THE SPICES
  4. NOW ADD 1/8TH TSP OF ASAFOETIDA POWDER TO IT
  5. MIX WELL ADDING ABOUT A CUP OF WATER.
  6. AND FINALLY ADD ABOUT 1/8TH TSP OF BAKING SODA TO THE BATTER. KEEP IT ASIDE UNTIL THE OIL IS HEATED
  7. DROP A SPOONFUL OF THE BATTER INTO THE HOT OIL
  8. DEEP FRY ON ONE SIDE
  9. FLIP OVER AND COOK ON THE OTHER SIDE TOO ON A MEDIUM HIGH HEAT.
  10. DRAIN THEM ON A KITCHEN TOWEL OR A PAPER NAPKIN
