Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Left over bread slices. 3
  2. Besan ( gram flour) 3 tbsp
  3. Sprouts 3 tbsp
  4. Sooji 1 tbsp
  5. Fresh garlic chopped 2 tbsp
  6. Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp.
  7. Ajwain 1/2 tsp.
  8. Dhania powder 1 tbsp
  9. Garam masala 1/2 tbsp
  10. Ginger grated 1 tbsp
  11. Salt, chilli powder to taste.
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  13. Leftover kadhi
  14. Red chili powder 1/2 tsp.


  1. Soak bread in water, squeeze out the liquid.
  2. Add Gram flour and Suji.
  3. Coarse grind Sprouts ( I used Math.) and add.
  4. Add ginger, garlic , salt, chilli powder, dhania powder, garam masala.
  5. Add Ajwain, Turmeric. Add water and mix to make pakoda batter.
  6. Heat oil, add 1 tbsp hot oil to the batter.
  7. Fry Pakoda on medium flame.
  8. Boil your leftover Kadhi. Add pakoda.
  9. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds.
  10. As it crackle ,add Asafoetida and 1 TSP red chili powder. Pour immediately on boiling Kadhi.
  11. Enjoy with Roti and Rice.
