Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Leftover white radish palyam 2-3 cup
  2. Grated coconut 1 cup
  3. Water
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Cooking oil 2 tsp
  6. Urad dal 2 tsp
  7. Coriander seeds 4 tsp
  8. Jeera 1/2 tsp
  9. Curry leaves few
  10. Asafoetida a pinch
  11. Turmeric powder 1/8 tsp
  12. Leftover red chilli fried 4 pieces
  13. Gooseberry sized tamarind soaked 3/4 cup water
  14. Jaggery powder 1 tsp
  15. Coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp for garnish

Instructions

  1. LEFTOVER WHITE RADISH PALYAM
  2. HEAT OIL, ADD URAD DAL, CORIANDER SEEDS AND JEERA
  3. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN OF URAD DAL AND GOOD AROMA
  4. ADD TURMERIC POWDER, ASAFOETIDA, CURRY LEAVES AND SAUTE ,TURN OFF FLAME
  5. ADD COCONUT AND WATER INTO MIXIE JAR
  6. ADD FRIED MASALA
  7. ADD FRIED LEFTOVER RED CHILLI AND GRIND
  8. POUR INTO VESSEL
  9. ADD PALYAM AND LET IT BE BOIL
  10. SALT TO TASTE AND SUFFICIENT WATER
  11. JAGGERY TO TASTE
  12. TAMARIND SOAKED WATER
  13. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES WHEN IT FINELY BOILS WITH BUBBLES, THEN TURN OFF THE FLAME AND READY TO SERVE
