Use the leftover dal and rotis to make this yummy dish which is a complete meal by itself.

Cut the rotis into pieces
Set them aside
Heat 2 tbsps oil and add asafoetida
Now add 1 tsp each of cumin and mustard seeds
When they crackle add the curry leaves
Add the leftover dal
Stir in the tamarind juice and little more water
Add salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder & 1 tsp jaggery
Stir to mix
When dal starts to simmer add the roti pieces
Cook on low flame for half a minute and garnish with coriander leaves
Serve it immediately
Dal Dhokli. (with leftover dal & rotis)
