This is a very quick, easy and healthy breakfast which is perfect for breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soaked poha [flattened rice] - 1 cup
  2. Groundnut 1/4 th cup
  3. Curry leaves [10]
  4. Jeera [cumin seeds] - 1 tsp
  5. Rai [mustard seeds] - 1 tsp
  6. green chillies 2
  7. Corriander leaves
  8. Onion 1
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 tp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. oil


  1. Heat a pan with some oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, ground nuts and chopped green chillies, followed by chopped onion, Saute for few minutes.
  2. Add rest of the spices, salt. Give this a mix and then add the drained poha. Mix well and saute for few more minutes.
  3. Garnish with some fresh coriander leaves and this is ready to be served.
