Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. All purpose Flour 2 cups
  2. oil 2 tbsp
  3. Carom seeds 1 tsp
  4. salt 1 tsp
  5. Leftover Urad Dal 1 cup
  6. Salt. to taste
  7. Dry Mango powder 1tsp
  8. red chilly to taste

Instructions

  1. Take the left over dal in a bowl.
  2. Add all the powdered masalas to the dal and mix well.
  3. Now knead a stiff dough using all purpose flour, salt, oil and required amount of water. Rest it for 10 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into equal parts and shape them into roundels.
  5. Now flatten each roundel, stuff with little of the dal mixture and reshape them, Flatten with hands, a bit to form the kachoris.
  6. Heat ample amount of oil in a wok, deep fry the kachoris on a medium to low flame, serve hot with some ketchup.
