Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rice 1/2 cup
  2. Moong dal 1/4 cup
  3. Channa dal 1 tbsp
  4. Jaggery 3/4 cup
  5. Cardamon powder
  6. Nutmeg powder
  7. Ghee required
  8. Dry grapes
  9. Cashews

Instructions

  1. DRY ROAST 1/2 CUP RICE, 1/4 CUP MOONG DAL, 1 TBSP CHANA DAL
  2. COOL, RINSE, KEEP ASIDE
  3. BRING 500 ML COW'S MILK TO A BOIL
  4. ADD THE RICE-DAL MIX, 2 CUPS OF WATER
  5. STIR CONSTANTLY TILL COOKED
  6. RICE & DAL SHOULD BE MUSHY LIKE THIS
  7. BOIL 3/4 CUP PALM JAGGERY IN 1 CUP OF WATER
  8. STRAIN IMPURITIES
  9. ADD JAGGERY SYRUP TO COOKED RICE-DAL MIX
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF CARDAMOM & NUTMEG POWDERS, ADD 1/2 TSP GHEE
  11. MIX & COOK ON SLOW HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY
  12. ADD A HANDFUL OF ROASTED CASHEWS & RAISINS
