Rice and dal seasoned with Jeera , ginger and Pepper

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rice 1/2 cup
  2. Moong dal 1/4 cup
  3. Salt
  4. For Seasoning
  5. Ghee 1 tbsp
  6. Pepper 1 tsp
  7. Jeera 1 tsp
  8. Pepper powder 1 tsp
  9. Cashew
  10. Chopped ginger
  11. Curry leaves

Instructions

  1. DRY ROAST 1/2 CUP PONGAL RICE & 1/4 CUP MOONG DAL
  2. KEEP TO COOL
  3. BOIL ADDING 4 CUPS OF WATER
  4. FRY THEM IN 1 TBSP GHEE
  5. ADD SALT TO TASTE TO THE RICE-DAL MIX, POUR THE TADKA, COOK TILL IT TURNS MUSHY
