Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Beetroot - 1
  2. Peanuts - 2 tbsp
  3. Salt - 1 tsp
  4. Roasted cumin powder - 1 tbsp
  5. Fresh Curd - 1 cup
  6. Green Chilli - 1
  7. Coriander for garnish
  8. For tempering :
  9. Oil - 1 tsp
  10. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  11. Curry leaves few
  12. Broken red chillies - 1 or 2

Instructions

  1. WASH,PEEL AND SLICE 1 BEETROOT.BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 200° FOR 20 TO 30 MINUTES.
  2. FRY 2 TBSP OF PEANUTS
  3. GRIND
  4. COARSELY POWDERED PEANUTS
  5. ROASTED FOR 20 MINUTES
  6. COOL AND GRIND WITH A CUP OF WATER
  7. GROUND PASTE
  8. TAKE A CUP OF CURD ADD A TSP OF SALT
  9. ADD A TBSP OF ROASTED CUMIN POWDER
  10. ADD THE BEETROOT PUREE
  11. GIVE A NICE MIX
  12. WHISK WELL ADD 1 CUT GREEN CHILLI TEMPER WITH MUSTARD SEEDS, BROKEN RED CHILLIES AND CURRY LEAVES
  13. ADD 2 TBSPS OF PEANUT POWDER AND STIR GENTLY
  14. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER
