This crisp toast made from semolina and vegetables is a healthy tiffin recipe for kids .

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices-4
  2. Semolina-1/4 cup
  3. Curd-2 tbsp
  4. Capsicum-2 tbsp
  5. Onion-2 tbsp
  6. Tomato-2 tbsp
  7. Green coriander-1 tbsp
  8. Salt
  9. Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  10. Oil for roasting

Instructions

  1. PREPARE 2 TBSP EACH OF CAPSICUM,TOMATOES,ONIONS,CURD,1/4 CUP SEMOLINA,1TBSP CORIANDER,SALT AND PEPPE
  2. ADD ALL INGREDIENTS IN A MIXING BOWL AND MIX TOGETHER.
  3. APPLY THIS SEMOLINA AND VEGETABLES MIXTURE ON EACH BREAD SLICE EVENLY.
  4. PREPARE ALL SLICES SIMILARLY.
  5. PUT OIL ON A HOT NON STICK PAN AND SPREAD.
  6. NOW PUT THE BREAD SLICE SEMOLINA SIDE DOWN ON THE PAN AND ROAST ON LOW OR MEDIUM FLAME .
  7. AFTER 2-3 MINUTES WHEN THE SEMOLINA LAYER BECOMES CRISP AND GOLDEN TURN THE BREAD.
  8. AFTER THE LOWER SIDE IS ALSO NICELY BROWNED AND CRISP REMOVE THE TOAST FROM PAN ON A PLATE.
  9. CUT INTO TRIANGLES SO THAT IT FITS IN THE LUNCH BOX.LET IT COOL AND THEN PACK.
