Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Basmati rice-1/2 cup
  2. Sweet corn-1/2 cup
  3. Red and green capsicum-1/2 cup
  4. Onion-1
  5. Ginger,garlic and green chilli paste-1 tsp
  6. Cloves-3
  7. Cardamom-2
  8. Cinnamon-1 piece
  9. Black pepper-5
  10. Bayleaf-1
  11. Ghee-2tbsp
  12. Cumin seeds-1/2 tsp
  13. Garam masala-1/2 tsp
  14. Salt

Instructions

  1. PREPARE 1/2 CUP BASMATI RICE,CAPSICUM,SWEETCORN, ONIONS,DRY SPICES AND GINGER, GARLIC, CHILLI PASTE
  2. TAKE 2 TBSP GHEE IN A PAN.
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS.
  4. ADD 2 CARDAMOM,3 CLOVES,1 PIECE CINNAMON,5 BLACK PEPPERS AND BAYLEAF.
  5. ADD 1 TSP GINGER ,GARLIC AND GREEN CHILLI PASTE.SAUTE FOR A MINUTE.
  6. ADD 1 ONION SLICED LONGITUDINALLY.SAUTE TILL THEY SHRINK A LITTLE AND ARE COOKED.
  7. ADD DRAINED BASMATI RICE WHICH WE HAD SOAKED FOR HALF AN HOUR.
  8. SAUTE THE RICE TILL MOISTURE EVAPORATES AND EACH GRAIN IS COATED WITH OIL.
  9. ADD 1 CUP WATER.
  10. ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  11. COVER AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.
  12. WHEN THE RICE IS HALF COOKED,WE WILL ADD 1/2 CUP SWEET CORN AND 1/2 CUP RED AND GREEN CAPSICUM.
  13. MIX AND ADD 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA OR 1 MAGGI MASALA SACHET.AGAIN COOK TILL THE RICE IS DONE.
  14. OUR CORN CAPSICUM PULAV IS READY.LETS PUT IT IN LUNCH BOX.LET IT COOL AND THEN CLOSE LID.
