Mungfali Chikki is basically made from peanuts and jaggery .it's very delicious in taste.In Gujrat people made this chikky during the festival of Uttarayan /MAKARSAKRANTI.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 tsp ghee
  2. 1 bowl jaggray/gud
  3. 1.5 bowl roasted peanuts

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TSP GHEE, ADD 1 CUP GUD / JAGGERY
  2. MIX & SAUTE
  3. MELT TILL SMOOTH
  4. WHEN IT CHANGES COLOUR, ADD A DROP OF JAGGERY IN SOME WATER, IF IT TURNS SOLID, IT IS READY
  5. ADD 1.5 CUPS ROASTED PEANUTS, MIX
  6. MIX TILL IT LOOKS THE PEANUTS ARE COATED IN JAGGERY MIX
  7. POUR ON A CLEAN, FLAT SURFACE, FLATTEN IT OUT
  8. TAP, ROLL, SHAPE INTO A CIRCLE
  9. CUT INTO SQUARES
  10. THE CHIKKI IS READY
