Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 tsp oil
  2. ½ inch cinnamon / dalchini
  3. 2 pods cardamom / elachi
  4. 1 tsp kasuri methi / dry fenugreek leaves
  5. ½ tsp cumin / jeera
  6. ½ tsp turmeric / haldi
  7. ½ tsp coriander powder
  8. 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  9. 1 onion, past
  10. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  11. 2 tomato, past
  12. 2 potato / aloo, peeled & cubed
  13. 1 tsp salt
  14. 1 tbsp cream
  15. ½ cup peas / matar
  16. 1 cup water
  17. ½ tsp garam masala
  18. 2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  19. For Roti
  20. 1 cup flour
  21. As your need water
  22. 2 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. PRESSURE COOKER HEAT 4 TSP OIL AND SAUTE ½ INCH CINNAMON, 2 PODS CARDAMOM, 1 TSP KASURI ½ TSP CUMIN
  2. NOW ADD IN ½ TSP TURMERIC, 1 TSP KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER AND ½ TSP CORIANDER POWDER. SAUTE ON LOW
  3. NOW ADD ONIONS PAST SAUTE WELL
  4. ADDITIONALLY ADD 1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND SAUTE WELL.
  5. NOW ADD 2 TOMATO PASTE AND SAUTE TILL THE TOMATOES TURN SOFT AND MIXED
  6. FURTHERMORE, ADD 2 FRIDAY POTATO CUBED .
  7. SAUTE FOR A MINUTE OR MORE.
  8. FURTHER ADD ½ CUP PEAS, 1 CUP WATER AND 1 GREEN CHILLI.
  9. NOW AND 2 TBSP CREAM
  10. CREAM AND CORIANDER LEAVES MIX IT WELL
  11. 1 CUP WATER 
  12. MIX WELL AND PRESSURE COOK FOR 3 WHISTLES OR TILL POTATO GETS COOKED WELL.
  13. ONCE THE PRESSURE GETS SETTLED DOWN, MASH SLIGHTLY ADJUSTING CONSISTENCY.ADD IN ½ TSP GARAM MASALA 
  14. 2 TBSP CORIANDER LEAVES. MIX WELL.
  15. TAKE 1 CUP FLOUR
  16. NOW START ADDING LITTLE WATER AT A TIME AND KEEP KNEADING.
  17. MAKE SMOOTH, SOFT DOUGH.
  18. NOW DIVIDE INTO 10-12 EQUAL PORTIONS. MAKE SMOOTH BALLS OUT OF IT AND FLATTEN THEM SLIGHTLY BETWEEN
  19. AND START ROLLING USING OIL ROLLING BOARD AND PIN MAKE 7-8INCH DIAMETER CIRCLE OF EVEN THICKNESS
  20. NOW HEAT THE TAWA OR PAN ON MEDIUM HEAT. ONCE HOT PLACE THE ROLLED PARATHA.
  21. AFTER FEW SECONDS, YOU WILL NOTICE SOME BUBBLES ON TOP. AND THERE WILL BE FEW BROWN SPOTS ON THE BOT
  22. APPLY OIL ON THE SURFACE AND FLIP AGAIN.
  23. ONCE FRIED FROM BOTH SIDES TILL GOLDEN BROWN REMOVE IT FROM THE PAN.
  24. FINALLY, SERVE ALOO MATAR SABJI WITH ROTI,
