ABOUT Homemade Bhature RECIPE

It is classic Indian puffed bread which is always associated and remembered with inseparable Chole Bhature. This authentic deep fried Indian bread is made with fermented dough. Make this bhature at home and serve with Punjabi chole and onion.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 500 grm maida
  2. 50 gms sooji
  3. 4 tbsp oil
  4. 2 cups curd
  5. 1 tbsp fruit salt
  6. 1 tbsp sugar
  7. Oil for deep frying
  8. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS OF CURD, 1 TBSP SUGAR, MIX
  2. KEEP ASIDE FOR 1 HOUR
  3. TAKE 500 GMS FLOUR, 50 GMS SEMOLINA, SALT TO TASTE
  4. ADD 1 TBSP ENO FRUIT SALT, 4 TBSP OIL
  5. MIX WELL
  6. ADD SOME CURD
  7. KNEAD A SOFT DOUGH
  8. ADD CURD LITTLE BY LITTLE
  9. KNEAD LIGHTLY
  10. KEEP ASIDE FOR 6 HOURS
  11. DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 2 PARTS
  12. GREASE PALMS, MAKE SMALL BALLS
  13. ROLL OUT
  14. ROLL OUT LONGER TOWARDS THE EDGES
  15. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL, PUFF UP GENTLY & FLIP
  16. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN
  17. SERVE HOT
