Jalfrezi is the indian version of chinese stir fry.Sauted vegetables and paneer pieces are coated with spicy gravy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. paneer cubes. 200 gm
  2. Oil. . 3Tbsp
  3. Cumi. Seeds. 1Tsp
  4. Finely sliced onion 1 medium
  5. garlic Chopped. . 2no
  6. Red chilli powder. 1Tsp
  7. Corriander powder. 1Tsp
  8. turmeric powder. 1/2Tsp
  9. Green bell pepper thinly sliced. 1No.
  10. Red bell pepper thinly sliced 1NO.
  11. Chopped tomatoes 1 Medium size
  12. salt as per taste
  13. Sugar. 1/2Tsp
  14. lemon juice 1Tbsp

Instructions

  1. ARRANGE ALL THE INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARING PANEER JALFREZI
  2. HEAT OIL IN A PAN.
  3. ADD CUMIN SEEDS WHEN IT SPLUTTERS ADD ONIONS.
  4. MIX EVERYTHING WELL.
  5. COVER AND COOK FOR 2-3 MINUTES.
  6. WHEN ONION TURNS TRANSLUCENT ADD CHOPPED GARLIC AND FRY FOR FEW SECONDS.
  7. ADD RED CHILLI POWDER, CORRIANDER POWDER , TURMERIC POWDER AND STIR WELL.
  8. ADD RED AND GREEN BELL PEPPER AND MIX WITH ALL THE SPICES.
  9. ADD SALT AND STIR WELL.
  10. COVER AND COOK FOR 4-5 MINUTES.
  11. ADD CHOPPED TOMATOES.
  12. COVER AND COOK FOR 2-3 MINUTES.
  13. ADD PANEER CUBES.
  14. STIR WELL TO COAT WITH ALL THE SPICES AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.
  15. ADD SUGAR, LEMON JUICE STIR WELL AND TURN OF THE GAS.
  16. ADD FRESH CORRIANDER.
  17. STIR WELL.
  18. PANEER JALFREZI IS READY TO SERVE.
