ABOUT Banana Chips RECIPE

Banana chips are deep fried in oil and the salt and turmeric water is poured on top of it while frying.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 6 raw bananas
  2. 1/2 cup water
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. Oil for deep frying
  6. 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp sugar powder

Instructions

  1. TAKE RAW BANANA, CUT THE ENDS AND SLIT THE SKIN.
  2. PEEL OF THE SKIN WITH YOUR HAND.
  3. DO THE SAME, PEEL OF ALL BANANAS.
  4. HEAT THE OIL AND SLICE THE PEELED RAW BANANA DIRECTLY INTO OIL.
  5. NOW TAKE 1/2CUP WATER, ADD IN 1/2 TSP SALT, 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, MIX WELL.
  6. STIR FOR A MINUTE, POUR 2TSP OF SALT, TURMERIC WATER INTO OIL.
  7. BE CAREFUL AS OIL MIGHT SPLUTTER LITTLE.
  8. STIR OCCASIONALLY, TILL THE CHIPS GETS COOKED WELL.
  9. DO NOT TURN TO GOLDEN BROWN. DRAIN OFF OVER KICHEN TOWEL.
  10. DO THE SAME PROCESS TO ALL BANANAS
  11. HEAT THE OIL AND REDUCE THE FLAME TO MEDIUM.
  12. COOK TILL CHIPS TURNS CRISP.
  13. IN A BOWL ADD 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1/2 TSP CHAT MASALA SALT TO TASTE. MIX WELL.
  14. 1/2 TSP POWDERED SUGAR, MIX ALL.
  15. SPRINKLE MASALA OVER THE CHIPS.
  16. MIX MASALA OVER ALL THE CHIPS.
  17. ALLOW TO COOL COMPLETELY.
  18. FINELLY, CRISPY BANANA CHIPS ARE READY.
  19. TRANSFERRING TO AIR TIGHT CONTAINER.
  20. YOU CAN SERVE ALONG WITH TEA OR COFFEE.
