  1. for palak puree:
  2. 1 bunch palak leaves / spinach
  3. 3 cups water
  4. 1 inch ginger
  5. 1 green chilli
  6. for dough:
  7. 2 cup wheat flour
  8. ½ tsp ajwain / carom seeds
  9. salt to taste
  10. 2 tsp oil
  11. water as required, to knead dough
  12. other ingredients:
  13. ½ cup wheat flour, to dust
  14. oil / ghee / for roasting

Instructions

  1. LUNCH IS READY TO EAT
  2. FIRSTLY, IN A LARGE BOWL TAKE 2 CUPS OF WHEAT FLOUR.FURTHER ADD ½ TSP AJWAIN, SALT TO TASTE
  3. ALSO ADD 4 TBSP PREPARED PALAK PUREE
  4. NOW AND 2 TSP OIL.
  5. COMBINE WELL MAKING SURE THE PALAK GETS MIXED WELL UNIFORMLY.
  6. FURTHERMORE, ADD WATER AS REQUIRED AND KNEAD FOR 5 MINUTES.
  7. MAKE SURE TO KNEAD TO SMOOTH AND SOFT DOUGH.
  8. NOW PINCH A MEDIUM SIZED BALL DOUGH, ROLL AND FLATTEN IT.ALSO DUST WITH SOME WHEAT FLOUR.FURTHER ROLL IT IN A THIN CIRCLE LIKE CHAPATHI OR PARATHA.
  9. NOW ON A HOT TAWA PLACE THE ROLLED PARATHA AND COOK FOR A MINUTE.FURTHERMORE, WHEN THE BASE IS PARTLY COOKED, FLIP THE PALAK PARATHA.
  10. ALSO BRUSH OIL / GHEE AND PRESS SLIGHTLY FURTHER, FLIP AGAIN ONCE OR TWICE TILL BOTH THE SIDES ARE COOKED PROPERLY.
  11. FINALLY, SERVE PALAK PARATHA WITH CURD
