Nigella/ kalongi juicy rice cake is a traditional bangali pitha/cake.i learned it from my maternal grand mother.nigella has thousands of incredible health benefits.it fight against acne.can fix many skin problems,keeps check on diabetes, increase s memory & alleviates asthma,gets rid of headace.erases joint pain, control s blood pressure,protects our kedney.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Rice flour. 1 cup
  2. All purpose flour. 2 tbs
  3. Nigella/kalongi. 1 tbs
  4. Red chilli powder. 1 tbs
  5. Water 1&1/2 cups
  6. Salt 1&1/2 tsp
  7. Sugar syrup..........
  8. Sugar 2 cups
  9. Lamon juice. 1 tbs
  10. Water. 1 cup
  11. Sinamon sticks 2
  12. Cardamom 2 pcs

Instructions

  1. RICE FLOUR 1 CUP,APF 2 TBS, SALT 1&1/2 TSP, NIGELLA 1 TBS,RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TBS, WATER 1 & 4 TBS
  2. IN BOILING WATER ADD SALT, NIGELLA,RED CHILLI POWDER,RICE FLOUR AND APF
  3. MAKE STIR & MAKE A SUPER SOFT , SMOOTH DOUGH BY KNEADING VERY WELL
  4. ADD SUGER2 CUPS, CINAMON1 STICK & CARDAMOM 2, 1 TBS LAMON JUICE,IN 1 CUP BOILING WATER.
  5. MAKE THICKER ROTI THAN REGULAR ROTI.CREATE DESIGN, MOTIFS USING TOOTH PICK& TWISER
  6. CREAT SIDE PATTERN WITH BENTED STAINLESS STEEL SCALE
  7. DEEP FRY UNTIL GETS GOLDEN BROWN COLOUR.
  8. SOAK IN SUGAR SYRUP FOR 5-7 MINUTES.
