Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. 100 gram paneer
  2. 10-12 urad day papad
  3. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  6. 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  7. 1 tbsp kasoori methi
  8. 2 tbsp cornflour
  9. 1 tbsp flour
  10. salt to taste
  11. 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. BREAK 10-12 PAPADS, PUT INTO A DRY GRINDER
  2. BLEND INTO A SMOOTH POWDER, KEEP ASIDE
  3. GRIND A 1 INCH GINGER PIECE, 7-8 GARLIC CLOVES WITH SOME WATER INTO A SMOOTH PASTE
  4. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD THE GROUND PASTE, SAUTE
  5. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF CHAT MASALA, RED CHILLI & TURMERIC POWDERS
  6. ADD 1/4 TSP PEPPER POWDER, SALT TO TASTE, MIX
  7. ADD 1 TSP KASOORI METHI, FRY TILL DRY
  8. TURN OFF THE HEAT, ALLOW IT TO COOL DOWN
  9. THINLY SLIT 100 GRAM COTTAGE CHEESE CUBES
  10. FILL THE READY MASALA IN BETWEEN THE SLITS
  11. MIX 2 TBSP CORNFLOUR, 1 TBSP FLOUR, 1/4 CUP WATER INTO A SMOOTH SLURRY
  12. DIP PANEER PIECE INTO THE SLURRY, ROLL OVER THE PAPAD POWDER
  13. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  14. FRY UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP ON BOTH SIDES
  15. SERVE HOT
