Very Typical kokani breakfast spevial and Ramadaan sehri special too,Fried banana with elaichi with Toast,Pav,kadak pav ie french bread.We call it Meetha kela fry too .Sugar fennel and cardomom add to flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 ripe bananas 2Days old or at least one Day old
  2. 100 grams or 5 tblspn sugar
  3. 1/4 th tspn Cardomom powder
  4. 2 tblspn Ghee (i used Gowardhan)
  5. 1tspn fennel seeds
  6. 1tspn chopped cashews optional
  7. 1 tspn blanched chopped pistachio or almonds optional

Instructions

  1. PEEL THE ALL 3 BANANAS,START SLICING THEM THIN
  2. YOUR BOWL OF SLICED BANANA IS READY
  3. ON THE SLICED BANANAS ADD 5 TBLSPN SUGAR AND MIX WELL AND KEEP
  4. KEEP READY 2TBLSPN. GHEE OF CHOICE PURE OR DALDA AS U CHOOSE,1/4TH TSPN CARDOMOM POWDER,SOME CHOPPED PISTACHIO & FENNEL SEEDS,SOME CASHEW PIECES
  5. HEAT GHEE IN A POT,ADD THE 1/4TH TSP CARDOMOM POWDER
  6. MIX SUGAR BANA WELL SO SOME SUGAR IS SOFETENED
  7. NOW ADD THIS SUGARED BANANA TO HOT GHEE
  8. STIR FRY,COOK THE BANANA WELL STIRRING FOR ABT 5-8MINUTES
  9. BANANA IS COOKING WELL SUGAR LEAVES WATER TOO,SO COOK TILL IT STARTS DRYING LITTLE
  10. BANANA IS WELL FRIED DONE NOW
  11. REMOVE IN BOWL SERVING HOT
