Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 tspn hing [asafoetida]
  2. 1tspn jeera [cumin seeds]
  3. 1 tbsp salt
  4. 1 tbsp saunf [fennel seeds]
  5. 1 tbsp masala of achaar or amchur powder
  6. haldi [turmeric powder] is optional
  7. Few green chilli
  8. ginger 1 inch
  9. 1 small tomato


  1. Take green chillis, ginger and tomato.
  2. Chop the chillies.
  3. Cut the ginger into julliens.
  4. Now chop the tomato.
  5. Now take a wok.
  6. Put 1 tbsp oil in it.
  7. When it gets heated
  8. Add hing.
  9. Then add jeera.
  10. Now put green chilli, ginger snd tomato in it
  11. Add salt and saunf.
  12. Add dhania too.
  13. Haldi is optional.
  14. Cover it with the lid.
  15. After 2 mins open the lid.
  16. Add amchur powder or achaar masala in it.
  17. You can also add garam masala powder which is optional.
  18. It gives tangy taste.
  19. Tangy taste better with dal and hot chapati.
