ABOUT Potli Roti RECIPE

Here a new taste in a roti which can be serve at breakfast or as an evening snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 tsp oil
  2. pinch of Asafoetida,
  3. 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds,
  4. 1/2 Tsp Chilly powder
  5. 3/4 Tsp chat masala,
  6. 1/2 Tsp garam masala,
  7. 1 tbsp coriander powder
  8. 1/2 Tsp turmeric powder,
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 1 cup boiled potatoes
  11. 1/2 cup boiled peas,
  12. 2 tbsp coriander leaves
  13. 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. HEAT 2 TSP OIL IN A PAN
  2. ADD PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA, 1/2 TSP CUMIN SEEDS, 1/2 TSP CHILLY POWDER
  3. 3/4 TSP CHAT MASALA, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA, 1 TBSP CORIANDER POWDER
  4. 1/2 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, SALT TO TASTE & MIX WELL
  5. ADD 1 CUP BOILED POTATOES, 1/2 CUP BOILED PEAS, 2 TBSP CORIANDER LEAVES
  6. 1 TSP LEMON JUICE AND MIX WELL
  7. LET IT COOL
  8. TAKE A CHAPATI, ADD 2 TBSP STUFFING
  9. START PLEATING AND JOINING THEM TOGETHER
  10. INSERT THE TOOTHPICK TO HOLD IT TIGHTLY
  11. HEAT 1 TBSP BUTTER IN A PAN
  12. ADD POTLI ROTI TO SHALLOW FRY
  13. TRANSFER IN A SERVING PLATE
