ABOUT Homemade Bread RECIPE

the best, most fluffy loaf of homemade white bread! Tastes so much better than store bought!!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All Purpose Flour - 2 and 1/2 cup 
  2. Sugar - 2 tbsp
  3. Salt-3/4 tsp
  4. Soft Butter - 2 tbsp
  5. Plain Flour for dusting
  6. Soft Butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. IN A BOWL ADD, 1 TBSP DRY YEAST, 2 TBSP SUGAR, 1/4 CUP LUKE WARM WATER
  2. MIX WELL AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINUTES, TO FROTHY
  3. TAKE 2.5 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, ADD 3/4 TSP SALT AND YEAST MIXTURE
  4. KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH, USING WARM WATER
  5. ADD 2 TBSP SOFT BUTTER & KNEAD FOR 10 MINUTES
  6. DOUGH IS READY, APPLY SOME OIL AND COVER WITH THE CLING FILM. KEEP IN A WARM PLACE TO PROOF.
  7. AFTER 1 HOUR DOUGH HAS BEEN DOUBLED IN SIZE. SPRINKLE SOME FLOUR ON BOARD & PLACE THE DOUGH OVER IT
  8. AGAIN FOLD AND STRETCH THE DOUGH FOR 10 MINUTES
  9. SPREAD THE DOUGH WITH YOUR FINGERS
  10. TIGHTLY ROLL THE DOUGH AND PINCH THE EDGES TO SEAL
  11. PLACE THE DOUGH IN THE GREASED BREAD LOAF TIN, APPLY SOME OIL AND COVER WITH THE CLING FILM
  12. KEEP IN A WARM PLACE FOR 60 MINUTES TO PROOF
  13. IT HAS BEEN PROOFED
  14. APPLY SOME BUTTER ON TOP
  15. BAKE FOR 30-40 MINUTES IN PREHEATED OVEN AT 180° C.
  16. AFTER 15 MINUTES PLACE A FOIL PAPER ON BREAD TO AVOID BURNING ON TOP
  17. BREAD IS READY
  18. COVER WITH THE LIGHTLY WET CLOTH TO AVOID DRYNESS ON TOP
  19. DEMOULD IT
