Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Whole wheat flour 3cups
  2. Semolina 1/4 cup
  3. Curd 1 tbsp
  4. Ghee 1 tbsp
  5. Ghee 1tbsp for frying
  6. 1Tsp cummin seeds
  7. 1Tsp carrom seeds
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1/4 Th tsp baking soda
  10. Water for binding dough

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1BOWL OF WHEAT FLOUR IN A BOWL AND ADD 1/4 TH BOWL OF SEMOLINA
  2. ADD 1TBSP OF GHEE AND 1TBSP OF CURD TO FLOUR
  3. ADD 1TSP OF CUMMIN SEEDS , 1 TSP OF CARROM SEEDS AND SALT TO FLOUR
  4. ADD 1/4 TSP OF BAKING SODA
  5. MIX WITH YOUR FINGERS
  6. TEXTURE SHOULD BE LIKE BREAD CRUMBS
  7. ADD WATER AND BIND SOFT DOUGH
  8. COVER AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 10-15 MINUTES
  9. TAKE SMALL PORTION ROLL IN BALL SHAPE AND FLATTEN WITH YOUR FINGERS
  10. ADD ALL BAFLAS TO BOILING WATER
  11. GIVE A STIR WITH SPATULA
  12. AFTER BOILING FOR 20 MINUTE THEY WILL FLOAT ABOVE WATER REMOVE THEM IN SEIVE
  13. AFTER THEY ARE DRIED FOR 5-7 MINUTES ADD GHEE TO PAN AND PLACE BAFLAS IN PAN FOR SHALLOW FRY
  14. FLIP THEM AS THEY TURN GOLDEN AND CRISPI
  15. KEEP THEM SLANTING FOR SOMETIME SO THEY ARE COOKED FROM SIDES TOO
  16. SLANT THEM SO THEY BECOMES CRISPI FROM ALL THE SIDES
  17. AS BAFLAS ARE COOKED FROM ALL SIDES REMOVE THEM IN SERVING PLATE
  18. DRIZZLE WITH LEFTOVER GHEE
  19. SERVE WITH DAL SALAD AND CHUTNEYS
