ABOUT VALENTINE DOUGH NUTS RECIPE

Valentine Dough nuts with Heart shape represents Valentine's day. Doughnuts are made with All purpose flour, egg, yeast, milk, sugar, butter and salt. The dough is kneaded well and rested till it risen. Heart shaped cookie cutter is used to shape dough, and it's deep fried in medium hot oil till it's golden brown. Two flavors are used here. One batch of Valentine's Doughnuts are sprinkled with castor sugar and second batch with Nutella and sprinkled with coloured sprinklers.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour 125 grams
  2. Egg 1/2 number
  3. Salt 2 grams
  4. Milk 35 ml
  5. Water 25 ml
  6. Active dry yeast 4 grams
  7. Sugar 10 grams
  8. Butter 8 grams
  9. Nutella, 2 tablespoon
  10. Castor sugar 50 grams
  11. Coloured sprinklers

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS FOR VALENTINE DOUGH NUTS.
  2. COMBINE WATER WITH MILK. ADD YEAST AND SUGAR AND MIX WELL.
  3. MIX WELL TILL SUGAR DISSOLVE WELL.
  4. TAKE A BOWL ADD SALT AND YEAST MIXTURE TO IT.
  5. ADD HALF EGG AND MIX WELL.
  6. ADD ALL PURPOSE FLOUR TO IT.
  7. MIX WELL WITH SPATULA.
  8. WHEN IT IS WELL COMBINED, KNEAD WITH HAND FOR FIVE MINUTES.
  9. ADD BUTTER TO THE DOUGH AND KNEAD AGAIN FOR FIVE MINUTES.
  10. REST THE DOUGH FOR 30 MINUTES IN A WARM PLACE.
  11. AFTER 30 MINUTES GIVESOME PUNCH AND AGAIN REST FOR 30 MINUTES.
  12. AGAIN COVER THE DOUGH AND KEEP IT IN A WARM PLACE.
  13. DUST THE WORK AREA. DOUGH HAS RISEN WELL.
  14. TAKE THE DOUGH AND WITH THE HELP OF ROLLING PIN, ROLL IT INTO 1INCH SHEET.
  15. THE SHEET HAS TO BE LIKE THIS.
  16. WITH THE HEART SHAPE COOKIE CUTTER CUT THE DOUGH. AGAIN WITH THE SMALL SIZE CUTTER CUT INSIDE.
  17. THE LARGE SIZE COOKIE CUTTER GIVES THIS SHAPE.
  18. HERE THE SMALL SIZE HEART COOKIE SHAPE IS SEEN.AGAIN COVER THE DOUGH NUT FOR THIRD RISE FOR 6 MINUTE
  19. THE RISEN VALENTINE DOUGH NUTS ARE READY TO FRY IN OIL.
  20. HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND DEEP FRY THE DOUGH NUTS IN A SLOW FLAME.
  21. WHEN IT RISEN WELL IN OIL, FLIP TO THE OTHER SIDE.
  22. FRY THREE AT A TIME.
  23. WHEN IT'S DONE TAKE OUT ON A PAPER TISSUE.
  24. SPRINKLE SOME CASTOR SUGAR AND PLACE IT ON A PLATE.
  25. CASTOR SUGAR HAS TO BE SPRINKLED WHEN DOUGH NUTS ARE STILL WARM.
  26. ANOTHER BATCH OF DOUGHNUTS CAN BE DIPPED IN NUTELLA.
  27. SPRINKLE SOME COLOURED SPRINKLERS ON TOP OF THE NUTELLA SPREAD DOUGH NUTS.
  28. VALENTINE DOUGH NUTS ARE READY TO SERVE.
  29. DUST A WOODEN BOARD WITH CASTOR SUGAR AND PLACE VALENTINE DOUGH NUTS TO GIVE EXTRA BEAUTY.
