ABOUT Aloo Gobhi Sabji RECIPE

Simple and regular sabji from my kitchen which are most favourite of my kids.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chopped florates/ cauliflower 250 gms
  2. Chopped potato 1
  3. Chopped tomato 1
  4. Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
  5. Chopped green garlic 2 tbsp
  6. Chopped capsicum 2 tbsp
  7. Oil 2 tbsp
  8. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  9. Asafoetida 1/4 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  11. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Dry coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL IN KADAI THEN ADD 1/4 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS FOR TEMPERING.
  2. ADD 1/4 TSP EACH ASAFOETIDA AND TURMERIC POWDER.
  3. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED EACH GREEN GARLIC AND CAPSICUM.
  4. MIX IT AND AAD 1 TBSP KASHMIRI RED CHILLI POWDER.
  5. SALT TO TASTE.
  6. 1 TBSP DRY CORIANDER POWDER AND MIX AGAIN.
  7. ADD 250 GRAMS CHOPPED FLORATES AND 1 POTATO, MIX IT AND COOK FOR 10 MINUTES WITH LID ON SLOW FLAME.
  8. NOW ADD 1 CHOPPED TOMATO AND COOK FOR NEXT 6 TO7 MINUTES WITH LID.
  9. REMOVE LID AND LEAVE FOR NEXT 2 - 3 MINUTES SPRINKLE 1 TBSP CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES.
