ABOUT Chocolate- cheese filled steamed rice pots. RECIPE

It is a bangali delicacy filled with jeggary & covonut filling.bangalies called it bhapa puli pithas.but the chocolate- cheese- nuts filling i used is mouth watering as usual.i wish it would be a great enjoyment on ur valentine's Day. thanks.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Filling:Shredded coconut. 3/4 cup
  2. Chocolate. 1/2 cup
  3. Nuts. 3 tbs
  4. Cheese. 2/3 cup
  5. Dough: rice flour. 3/4 cup
  6. All purpose flour. 2 tbs
  7. Salt. 1/2 tsp
  8. sugar 1/2 tbs
  9. Oil. 1. Tsp
  10. Powder milk. 2 tbs
  11. Water. 1/2 cup or as to needed
  12. Basella-poi seeds colour:
  13. Poi seeds. 1&1/2 tbs
  14. water 1/2 tbs

Instructions

  1. IN A PAN TRANSFER 3/4 CUP SHREDDED FRESH COCONUT.
  2. ADD 2 TBS NUTS.
  3. ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED CHOCOLATE BARS.
  4. ADD 3 CUP SUGAR.
  5. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.
  6. ADD CHEESE.
  7. STIR WELL & FILLING IS READY.
  8. TRANSFER 1CUP OF WATER IN A PAN.
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP SALT.
  10. ADD 1/2 TBS SUGAR.
  11. ADD 1 TSP OIL.
  12. ADD3/4 CUP RICE FLOUR.
  13. ADD 2 TBS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR.
  14. STIR WELL.
  15. ADD 2 TBS POWDER MILK& STIR AGAIN.DOUGH IS READY.
  16. KNEAD VERY WELL.
  17. MAKE A SMOOTH, SOFT DIVIDE THE DOUGH INTO 2 BACHES.
  18. BASELLA-POI SEEDS COLOUR: TAKE 1&1/2 TBS POI SEEDS.
  19. MASH THE SEEDS.
  20. ADD 1/2 TBS WATER. NATURAL COLOUR IS READY.
  21. ADD POI SEED COLOUR WITH ONE PORTION OF DOUGH.
  22. TAKE A LARGE DOUGH BALL & SMALL RED DOUGH BALL.PLACE RED DOUGH ON WHITE DOUGH.
  23. MAKE SMALL BOWL WITH IT.
  24. BOWLS ARE READY
  25. FILL UP THE BOWLS WITH CHOCOLATE AND CHEESE FILLING.
  26. MAKE LID WITH ANOTHER DOUGH.
  27. MAKE SOME WHITE & RED SMALL BALLS WITH DOUGH.
  28. PLACE THE RED& WHITE SMALL BALLS ON THE CHEESE PLACE THE LID.
  29. SEAL THE EDGE OF LID& BOWL.
  30. SET A BALL ON THE CENTER OF LID.CREAT MOTIFS ON THE EDGE OF LID.
  31. CHOCOLATE-CHEESE FILLED POTS ARE READY.
  32. PLACE POTS FOR STEAMING.
  33. COVER IT&STEAM FOR 20 MINUTES.
  34. STEAMED CHOCOLATE- CHEESE FILLED RICE POTS ARE READY.
  35. ALLOW THEM TO BE A LITTLE CHILLED.
  36. CREAT SOME CHOCOLATE MOTIFS WITH FINGER.
  37. ARRANGE THE CHOCOLATE- CHEESE FILLED RICE POTS.
  38. THE BANGALI DELICACY SWEET CHOCOLATE- CHEESE FILLED STAMED RICE POTS......
  39. GREAT SURPRISE FOR UR LOVEABLE ONE.....
