ABOUT Dry Fruit Kachori RECIPE

The kachoris will be crispy on top and soft and sticky inside with the crunch of nuts in between. If you have got a sweet tooth you 'll love these!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. FOR DOUGH- All purpose flour 100 gm
  2. oil for moyan 20 gm
  3. SYRUP- sugar 1/4 cup
  4. water 2 tbsp
  5. saffron few strands
  6. cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
  7. FILLING- Mawa/khoya 100 gm
  8. almonds 2 tbsp
  9. cashews 1 tbsp
  10. chironji 1 tbsp
  11. pistachio 2 tbsp
  12. GARNISH- almond and pistachio silvers
  13. Dried rose leaves
  14. FRYING- ghee 2-3 cups

Instructions

  1. TAKE 100 GMS FLOUR, 20 GMS OIL, MIX
  2. ADD LITTLE WATER, KNEAD A SOFT DOUGH
  3. KEEP ASIDE TO REST FOR 30 MINS
  4. COOK 100 GMS MAWA ON SLOW HEAT
  5. ADD 2 TBSP EACH OF CHOPPED ALMONDS & PISTACHIOS, 1 TBSP EACH OF CHIRONJI & CASHEWS
  6. COOK FOR A FEW MINS, KEEP ASIDE
  7. BOIL 1/4 CUP SUGAR, 2 TBSP WATER, FEW SAFFRON STRANDS, 1/4 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER
  8. BOIL TILL THE SUGAR DISSOLVES, KEEP ASIDE
  9. DIVIDE THE READY DOUGH INTO 4 EQUAL PARTS
  10. ROLL OUT A LITTLE, ADD 1 TBSP DRY FRUIT STUFFING
  11. GATHER & SEAL THE EDGES, FLATTEN OUT
  12. FRY KACHORIS OVER LOW FLAME.
  13. TAKE OUT AND PLACE ON ABSORBENT PAPER WHEN GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  14. MAKE A HOLE IN THE CENTRE, FILL WITH READY SUGAR SYRUP
  15. GARNISH WITH CHOPPED NUTS, DRIED ROSE PETALS
