ABOUT Instant Naan on a Tava RECIPE

This instant naan recipe comes extremely handy. No yeast, no eggs and yet pillowy and puffs beautifully.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1 tbsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp baking powder
  5. 2 tbsp oil
  6. Luke warm milk as required

Instructions

  1. IN 2 CUPS OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR, ADD 1 TSP SALT, 1 TBSP POWDER SUGAR, 1 TSP BAKING POWDER
  2. 2 TBSP OIL AND KNEAD THE SOFT DOUGH WITH LUKE WARM MILK
  3. KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINUTES
  4. MAKE SMALL BALLS AND ROLL OVAL
  5. SPRINKLE SOME NIGELLA SEEDS AND CORIANDER LEAVES AND ROLL AGAIN
  6. FLIP THE NAAN AND APPLY SOME WATER
  7. PLACE THE WET SIDE DOWN ON HOT TAVA
  8. WHEN BUBBLES START FORMING, FLIP THE TAVA, COOK ON DIRECT FLAME
  9. INSTANT NAAN IS READY
  10. APPLY BUTTER ON HOT NAAN
  11. ENJOY!
