ABOUT Instant Naan on a Tava RECIPE

This instant naan recipe comes extremely handy. No yeast, no eggs and yet pillowy and puffs beautifully.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp salt
  3. 1 tbsp sugar
  4. 1 tsp baking powder
  5. 2 tbsp oil
  6. Luke warm milk as required

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS FLOUR, ADD 1 TSP SALT, 1 TBSP POWDERED SUGAR, 1 TSP BAKING POWDER
  2. ADD 2 TBSP OIL, KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH WITH LUKEWARM MILK
  3. KEEP ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  4. MAKE SMALL BALLS, ROLL INTO OVALS
  5. SPRINKLE SOME NIGELLA SEEDS & CORIANDER LEAVES, ROLL AGAIN
  6. FLIP THE NAAN, APPLY SOME WATER
  7. PLACE THE WET SIDE DOWN ON A HOT TAVA
  8. WHEN BUBBLES START FORMING, FLIP THE TAVA, COOK ON DIRECT FLAME
  9. INSTANT NAAN IS READY
  10. APPLY BUTTER ON HOT NAAN
