Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For orange velvety sponge
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour ( maida)
  3. 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  4. 1/2 cup orange juice
  5. Few drops of orange colour (optional)
  6. 2 tbsp oil
  7. 1 tbsp butter
  8. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  9. 3/4 th baking soda
  10. Orange zest of one orange
  11. For mousse
  12. 200 gms of white chocolate chopped
  13. 1/4 th cup of all fresh cream
  14. 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  15. 2 egg yolk
  16. 11/2 cup of whipped cream

Instructions

  1. KEEP ALL THE INGREDIENTS READY
  2. IN A BOWL ADD SUGAR, OIL.AND BUTTER
  3. ADD ORANGE ZEST AND BEAT WITH A BLENDER
  4. MIX WELL
  5. ADD EGG AND AGAIN BEAT
  6. ADD SIEVE FLOUR AND ORANGE JUICE AND BEAT WELL
  7. ADD ORANGE COLOUR TO THE BATTER AND MIX WELL
  8. ADD BAKING SODA TO.LEMON JUICE AND AS.SOON.AS IT START FOAMING ADD TO BATTER
  9. MIX WELL
  10. POUR THE BATTER IN LINED TIN
  11. BAKE IN A.PREHETAED OVEN AT 170 DEGREE FOR 40 MINS OR TILL IT IS DONE
  12. FOR WHITE CHOCOLATE MOUSSE ADD EGG YOLK.AND SUGAR TO A BOWL AND BEAT TILL MIXTURE BECOMES PALE
  13. HEAT CREAM IN A.PAN. TO THIS ADD EGG YOLK MIXTURE SLOWLY
  14. COOK ON LOW FLAME TILL MIXTURE BECOMES THICK AND START COATING BACK OF SPOON
  15. MIX WELL IF CHOCOLATE DOESN'T MELT HEAT IN MICROWAVE FOR FEW SECONDS
  16. POUR THIS MIXTURE THROUGH SIEVE ON CHOCOLATE .LET CHOCOLATE MELT WITH THE HEAT OF CREAM
  17. AFTER COOLING ADD WHIPPED CREAM IN STEP. FOLD WHIP CREAM PROPERLY IN CHOCOLATE MIXTURE
  18. CLING WRAP AS SHOWN IN VIDEO TO AVOID SKIN FORMATION ON MOUSSE.KEEP IN FRIDGE TO SET FOR AT LEAST ONE HOUR
  19. ORANGE VELVET SPONGE IS READY
  20. REMOVE THE MOUNTED TOP
  21. CUT IN TWO EQUAL LAYERS
  22. CUT WITH ROUND COOKIE CUTTER TO REMOVE HARD SPONGE
  23. SOAK WITH ORANGE JUICE OR NORMAL SUGAR SYRUP
  24. FILL MOUSSE IN PIPING BAG WITH NOZZLE AND PIPE OUT AS SHOWN
  25. COVER WHILE SPONGE
  26. ADD ANOTHER LAYER AND REPEAT THE PROCESS
