  1. Country chicken 250 gms
  2. shallots 100gms
  3. garlic 6
  4. Bydagi red chillies 8
  5. Thin coconut slices 15 to 20
  6. Curry leaves few
  7. mustard 1/2 tsp
  8. Fennel seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  9. turmeric 1/2 teaspoon
  10. salt accordingly
  11. oil 50 ml

Instructions

  1. TAKE 250 GMS COUNTRY CHICKEN,SHALLOTS 100 GMS GARLIC 6, CURRY LEAVES AND BYDAGI REDCHILLIES 8 BROKEN
  2. ADD 30 ML OIL IN A PRESSURE COOKER
  3. ADD 1/2 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS AND FENNEL SEEDS
  4. ADD THE CHICKEN
  5. ADD THE CURRY LEAVES AND BROKEN CHILLIES
  6. ADD 1/2 TEASPOON TURMERIC
  7. ADD SALT ACCORDINGLY
  8. POUR 300 ML OF WATER
  9. PRESSURE COOK FOR 12 WHISTLES. COUNTRY CHICKEN TAKES TIME TO GET COOKED.
  10. CHOP COCONUT INTO THIN SLICES
  11. IN A KADAI ADD 20 ML OIL
  12. ADD THE WHOLE SHALLOTS AND GARLIC
  13. ADD THE COCONUT PIECES
  14. OPEN THE COOKER. THE CHILLIES GET MASHED UP AND GIVE A FINE RED COLOUR.
  15. ADD THEM INTO THE KADAI WITH SHALLOTS
  16. STIR WELL
  17. ALLOW THE WATER TO DRY UP. HOT RED SPICY PALLIPALAYAM CHICKEN IS READY. SERVE WITH RICE OR DOSA.
