Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton pieces -300 gm
  2. One large potato
  3. oil -3 tbsp
  4. One large onion chopped
  5. One large tomato chopped
  6. Green chillies -2
  7. ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp
  8. Chopped mint coriander leaves -each 2 tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala-1/4 - 1/2 tsp
  11. Curry masala- 1 tbsp
  12. curd -1 tbsp
  13. salt to taste
  14. To paste:-
  15. Grated coconut -4 tbsp
  16. cashew nuts -4

Instructions

  1. KEEP ALL THE INGREDIENTS READY.
  2. HEAT 3 TBSP OIL IN A PRESSURE COOKER,SAUTE ONE BIG CHOPPED ONION
  3. ADD 1 TBSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE.STIR WELL.
  4. LEAVE FOR A MINUTE IN LOW FLAME.
  5. PEEL ONE LARGE POTATO,RINSE, AND ADD SALT,2 CUPS WATER AND BOIL FOR 10 MINUTES.
  6. FRY ONION,GINGERGARLIC PASTE TILL GOLDEN ADD A CHOPPED TOMATO,2 GREEN CHILLIES,MINT,CORIANDER LEAVES
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  8. MIX WELL.
  9. ADD 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER,1 TBSP CURRY MASALA, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA.
  10. SAUTE IT.
  11. ADD 1 TBSP CURD,MIX WELL.
  12. NOW ADD,RINSED,DRAINED 300 GM MUTTON PIECES TO THE MASALA.
  13. SAUTE AGAIN.
  14. ADD ONE CUP OF WATER AND MIX WELL.
  15. LET IT BOIL FOR A MINUTE.
  16. CLOSE WITH LID AND COOK FOR 10 MINUTES OR 5 WHISTLES IN A MEDIUM FLAME.
  17. AFTER PRESSURE RELEASE CAREFULLY OPEN IT.
  18. GRIND 4 TBSP GRATED COCONUT & 4 CASHEWS TO A FINE PASTE, ADD TO IT.ADD THE BOILED POTATO CUBES.
  19. MIX AND ADD LITTLE SALT TO TASTE.
  20. BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES IN LOW FLAME,ADD FEW CHOPPED CORIANDER MINT LEAVES.ADJUST THE KURMA THICKNESS.
  21. NOW OIL ON TOP. MUTTON CURRY KURMA READY.
  22. DELICIOUS !
  23. TRANSFER TO A BOWL.
