  1. For Bisibelebath powder
  2. 2 tsp coriander seeds
  3. 1 tsp channa dal
  4. 1 tsp urad dal
  5. 1/2 tsp pepper
  6. 1/2 tsp jeera
  7. 1/4 tsp methi
  8. 1 tsp poppy seeds
  9. 1 inch cinnamon
  10. 3 Marathi Moggu
  11. 4 cloves
  12. 2 Cardamon
  13. 4 Byadgi Chillies
  14. 3 Guntur chillies
  15. 1/4 cup coconut
  16. For Bisibelebath
  17. 1/2 Cup Foxtail millet
  18. 1/2 Cup Tuvr dal
  19. tomatoes 2
  20. carrot 1
  21. Beans 10
  22. Brinjal 2
  23. potato 1
  24. peas 1/4 cup
  25. shallots 10-15
  26. onion 1
  27. curry leaves
  28. coriander leaves
  29. tamarind lemon size soaked
  30. salt
  31. turmeric Powder
  32. FOR GARNISH
  33. 1 tbsp ghee
  34. cashews

Instructions

  1. COOK 1/2 CUP FOXTAIL MILLET
  2. PRESSURE COOK 1/2 CUP TUVR DAL, 2 MEDIUM SIZE TOMATOES WITH 1/4 TSP TURMERIC FOR 5 WHISTLES
  3. MASH THE DAL AND TOMATOES. SET ASIDE
  4. TAKE 2 TSP DHANIA, 1 TSP CHANNA AND URAD, 1/2 TSP PEPPER AND JEERA, 1/4 TSP METHI, 2 ELAICHI, 4 CLOVES, 3 MOGGU, 1 TSP KHUS KHUS, 3-4 BYADGI CHILLI, 3 GUNTUR CHILLIES, CINNAMON 1 INCH
  5. ADD OIL. FRY CHANNA AND URAD DAL FIRST. ADD DRY SPICES
  6. SAUTE POPPY SEEDS AND RED CHILLIES
  7. ADD IT TO BLENDER. ADD 1/4 CUP COCONUT. GRIND TO SMOOTH PASTE. SET ASIDE
  8. ADD 1 TBSP OIL. ADD MUSTARD. ALLOW TO CRACK
  9. ADD 10-15 SHALLOTS AND 1 CHOPPED ONION
  10. WHEN ONION TURN TRANSLUCENT, ADD CARROT, BEANS, BRINJAL AND POTATO
  11. ADD 1/4 CUP PEAS AND CURRY LEAVES. SAUTE FOR 5 MINUTES TO COOK VEGETABLES
  12. ADD TAMARIND EXTRACT, REQUIRED SALT AND PINCH OF TURMERIC POWDER
  13. ADD GROUND PASTE. MIX WELL
  14. WHEN FOAMY LAYER IS FORMED, ADD CORIANDER LEAVES
  15. ADD COOKED DAL. MIX WELL
  16. ADD COOKED MILLET. MIX WELL
  17. GARNISH WITH GHEE AND CASHEWS
