Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Eggs- 5
  2. Sugar-175 gm( or to taste)
  3. Thick first coconut milk - 1 cup
  4. salt - pinch
  5. Ghee-3 tsp
  6. Chopped Nuts and raisins to garnish

Instructions

  1. INGREDIENTS:-EGGS-5,SUGAR-175GM,PINCH SALT,COCONUT FIRST MILK-1 CUP,GHEE-3 TSP,NUTS TO GARNISH.
  2. ADD GRATED COCONUT IN A JAR.
  3. SPRINKLE LITTLE HOT WATER AND COARSELY GRIND IT.
  4. EXTRACT THICK COCONUT MILK.
  5. THICK FIRST COCONUT MILK READY.
  6. NOW TAKE 5 EGGS.
  7. ADD EGGS AND SUGAR TO COCONUT MILK
  8. BEAT IT WELL.
  9. MIX WELL UNTIL SUGAR DISSOLVES.
  10. POUR THE EGG MIX THROUGH A SIEVE.
  11. POUR 3 CUPS OF WATER IN A COOKER AND PLACE A BASE PLATE IN THE BOTTOM.
  12. ADD 1 TSP ,KEEP THE VESSEL IN THE COOKER.
  13. COVER THE MIXTURE WITH LID .
  14. LOCK THE PRESSURE COOKER, COOK IN A MEDIUM LOW FLAME FOR 30 MINUTES.
  15. FRY THE NUTS,RAISINS IN GHEE.
  16. KEEP ASIDE.
  17. AFTER 30 MINUTES, COOKER COOLS DOWN OPEN IT.
  18. NOW STEAMED EGG PUDDING( VATILAPPAM) IS READY.
  19. SERVE IN A PLATE.
  20. GARNISH WITH FRIED NUTS AND RAISINS.
  21. YUMMY VATILAPPAM !
  22. SERVE SWEET VATILAPPAM WITH IDIYAAPPAM.(STRING HOPPERS)
