Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bajra flour 1 cup
  2. Jowar flour 1/2 cup
  3. Rice flour 1/2 cup
  4. Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  5. 1 tsp ajwain
  6. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  7. butter to garnish
  8. salt to taste
  9. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Green Chillies 2
  11. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Fresh coriander 1/2 cup
  13. Gram flour 1/2 cup
  14. garlic 8 cloves
  15. 1 onion chopped

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP BAJARA FLOUR, 1/2 CUP JOWAR FLOUR
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP EACH OF GRAM FLOUR & RICE FLOUR
  3. ADD 1 CHOPPED ONION, 1/2 CUP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SET ASIDE
  4. ADD 2 GREEN CHILLIES, 8 GARLIC CLOVES, 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS TO A MIXER JAR
  5. ADD 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS, SALT TO TASTE, BLEND INTO A SMOOTH PASTE
  6. ADD THIS PASTE INTO THE FLOUR MIX
  7. ADD 1 TSP SESAME SEEDS, 1/2 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI & TURMERIC POWDERS
  8. ADD 1 TBSP OIL, MIX WELL
  9. ADD A LITTLE WATER TO MAKE A SOFT, PLIABLE DOUGH
  10. SET ASIDE FOR 5 MINS
  11. TAKE A SMALL BALL OF DOUGH, DUST WITH SOME DRY FLOUR
  12. LIGHTLY ROLL IT OUT
  13. MAKE TINY HOLES ON THE SURFACE LIKE THIS
  14. GENTLY LIFT THE THALIPEETH & PLACE IT ON A HOT, OIL-GREASED TAVA, ADD 1 TSP OIL THROUGH THE HOLES
  15. FRY ON A MEDIUM HEAT ON BOTH SIDES TILL GOLDEN BROWN & COOKED
  16. THALIPEETH IS READY TO BE SERVED
  17. SERVE HOT WITH A DOLLOP OF BUTTER ON TOP & FRESH CURD ON THE SIDE
