A nutritive , wholesome kebab for brunch or tea time . An healthy snack/ lunchbox option for kids . These kebabs melt in mouth , with their soft inside , crunchy outside texture.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Boiled toor / masoor dal 3 tablespoons
  2. White poha 1.5 cups soaked and mashed .
  3. potato boiled big 1
  4. carrot grated 3 tablespoons
  5. salt 1.5 teaspoons
  6. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Chaat masala 1/2 teaspoon
  8. pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  9. Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon
  11. coriander half bunch finely chopped
  12. All purpose flour / maida 2-3 tablespoons
  13. water 3 tablespoons
  14. Bread crumbs 1 cup for coating the patties
  15. oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl , add 3 tablespoons cooked toor/ masoor dal.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons grated carrot , 1 boiled big potato mashed . 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste .
  3. Add 1.5 cups soaked white poha .
  4. Add 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala , 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala , 1 teaspoon pepper powder .
  5. Add 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder .
  6. Add 1/2 bunch finely chopped coriander leaves .
  7. Mash the mixture and make small balls ought of the mixture . Press between greased palms into
  8. patties shape . In another bowl , mix 2 tablespoons Maida in little water to a smooth pouring paste
  9. Take bread crumbs in another plate . Firstly , dip the patties in Maida paste then roll on bread
  10. crumbs . Place the coated patties on a dry plate . Let the patties rest for few minutes .
  11. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a pan . Place the patties on the hot oil and fry both sides in low flame.
  12. Fry till golden brown . Healthy kebabs are ready .
