Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fine samolina powder 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour 1/2 cup for dough
  3. salt to taste
  4. turmeric powder a pinch
  5. Wheat flour 1/4 cup for dusting
  6. Leftover aloo palyam
  7. Cooking oil for deep fry
  8. Sufficient water
  9. coriander leaves few

Instructions

  1. TAKE 1 CUP FINELY POWDERED SEMOLINA, SALT, A PINCH OF TURMERIC POWDER
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP WHEAT FLOUR, SOME WATER
  3. MIX WELL & KNEAD INTO A DOUGH
  4. ADD A LITTLE OIL, KNEAD INTO A SMOOTH DOUGH, COVER & KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINS
  5. TAKE SMALL BALLS OF DOUGH, ROLL INTO POORIS
  6. FILL 2 TSP OF LEFTOVER ALOO SABZI / BOILED & SEASONED POTATOES
  7. FOLD & SHAPE INTO POTLIS LIKE THIS
  8. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL ON MEDIUM HEAT
  9. FLIP & FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP
  10. TIE WITH CORIANDER STALKS / STRINGS, SERVE HOT
