ABOUT Cheese omelette ( Kids breakfast ) RECIPE

A protein rich , finger licking breakfast for kids and adults . Looks like a pizza and children love to gorge this yummy breakfast dish . Tummy filling , wholesome breakfast option for school / college / office goers.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Large eggs 2
  2. Fresh cream 3 tablespoons
  3. Grated cheese ( Mozzarella) preferably 3-4 tablespoons
  4. salt a pinch
  5. pepper powder as preferred
  6. Thyme 1 teaspoon
  7. Oregano / Kasuri methi 1 tablespoon
  8. butter 1 -2 teaspoons
  9. coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl , break and pour 2 large eggs . Add a pinch of salt and pepper .
  2. Whisk the eggs to a frothy mixture .
  3. Add 3 tablespoons fresh cream to the egg mixture .
  4. Whisk the mixture again with a great force . Keep it aside .
  5. Melt a teaspoon of butter in a pan .
  6. Now pour the whisked egg mixture on the melted butter. Reduce the flame to medium .
  7. As soon as the bottom of the omelette gets cooked , keep pushing omelet to the centre of the pan.
  8. When the upper part is semi cooked , add the grated cheese on 1 half of the omelette.
  9. Sprinkle pepper , thyme , oregano / kasuri Methi . Fold the omelette ,gently press with a spatula.
  10. Switch off heat. Cover the pan immediately for 1 min .Cheese melts , omelette is done completely.
  11. Cut the cheesy omelette into two . Sprinkle coriander leaves . Serve hot with roasted tomatoes.
