Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices 4
  2. Milk boiled and cooled , 150 ml
  3. Large egg 1 to 2 .
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Crushed garlic pods 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Ghee for shallow frying 3 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. In a bowl , take boiled and cooled milk 150 ml .
  2. Beat and pour 1 large egg to the milk . Add salt .
  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon freshly crushed garlic .
  4. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder. Mix all together for a minute . Don’t whisk .
  5. Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a pan . Dip the bread slice in the milk egg garlic mixture quickly .
  6. Don’t dip , soak for a long time . Bread would turn mushy .
  7. Place it on the hot ghee .
  8. Shallow fry the bread slice in medium heat .
  9. Flip and fry the other side . It’s done . Repeat the process for frying remaining bread slices.
  10. Transfer to a plate . Serve hot with mayonnaise / ketchup / black pepper powder / sugar .
