Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 150 paneer
  2. 3 tomatoes
  3. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  4. 1 tsp kasoori methi
  5. 1/2 cup cashew nuts
  6. Melon seeds 1/4 cup
  7. ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  8. Green cardamom 2
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. oil 1 tbsp
  12. maida 2 tbsp
  13. Fresh cream 2 tbsp
  14. Garam masala 1 tsp
  15. Fresh coriander to garnish
  16. yogurt 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. ADD 3 TOMATOES, 1/2 CUP CASHEW NUTS, 1/4 CUP MELON SEEDS TO A PRESSURE COOKER
  2. ADD 4 CLOVES, 2 TBSP GINGER-GARLIC PASTE, 1 TSP POPPY SEEDS
  3. ADD 2 GREEN CARDAMOMS, 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, SALT TO TASTE
  4. ADD 1 TBSP OIL, 1/4 CUP WATER, PRESSURE COOK UPTO 1 WHISTLE, ALLOW IT TO COOL
  5. ADD TO A MIXER JAR, BLEND TILL SMOOTH
  6. ADD 1/4 CUP CURD TO THE GROUND MASALA PASTE, MIX & KEEP ASIDE
  7. TAKE 150 GMS GRATED COTTAGE CHEESE, ADD 1/4 TSP CARDAMOM POWDER, SALT TO TASTE
  8. ADD 2 TBSP FLOUR, MIX INTO A DOUGH
  9. ROLL & SHAPE INTO SMALL, SMOOTH BALLS / KOFTAS
  10. DEEP FRY IN HOT OIL
  11. STIR & FRY ON MEDIUM HEAT FROM ALL SIDES
  12. FRY TILL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP LIKE THIS, PLACE ON ABSORBENT PAPER
  13. HEAT 2 TSP OIL, ADD 2 BAY LEAVES & THE GROUND MASALA PASTE
  14. ADD 1 TSP EACH OF GARAM MASALA & CORIANDER POWDERS
  15. ADD 2 TBSP FRESH CREAM, SAUTE
  16. ADD 1.5 CUPS OF WATER, BRING THE MASALA TO A BOIL
  17. SPRINKLE 1/2 TSP CHAT MASALA, 1 TSP KASOORI METHI, COVER & COOK FOR 2 MINS
  18. ADD THE READY KOFTAS TO A SERVING BOWL, POUR THE MASALA GRAVY ON TOP
  19. GARNISH WITH 1 TSP FRESH CREAM, A HANDFUL OF CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER, SERVE HOT
