Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Whole wheat flour 120 grams
  2. Brown bread slices 2 crumbled well
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Non-roasted sooji 2 tablespoons
  5. Fresh yogurt 3 tablespoons
  6. Water when really needed not more than 1/4 cup
  7. Oil for deep frying .

Instructions

  1. In a bowl , take 120 grams whole wheat flour, salt to taste , 2 slices brown bread crumbled .
  2. Add 2 tablespoons non roasted sooji .
  3. Add 3 tablespoons yogurt.
  4. Knead all into a smooth dough . Add water only if needed .Cover,rest the dough for 20 minutes.
  5. After 20 minutes , make mediun balls and roll into medium thickness dough circles .
  6. Heat oil in a wok for deep frying . Fry the Bathure one by one in hot oil . Bathura puffs up in
  7. hot oil . Fry both sides . Remove from heat . Drain excess oil . Repeat the process.
  8. Puffy crunchy outside , soft inside bread Bathura ready .
  9. Serve with halwa and chole masala .
