ABOUT Samosa Taquitos RECIPE

Traditional samosa filling is wrapped and turns into a delicious appetizer.Grilled Taquitos,are kids friendly and much healthier than deep -fried.By grilling the taquitos instead of frying them,the tortillas still turn out incredible toasty and crunchy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients for filling:-
  2. Boiled and mashed potatoes 2 cup
  3. Boiled peas 1/2 Cup
  4. cumin seeds. 1 Tsp
  5. Whole coriander seeds 1Tsp
  6. haldi powder 1/2 Tsp
  7. Red chili powder 1/2 Tsp
  8. amchur powder 1Tsp
  9. Garam masala 1/2 Tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. Kasuri methi 2Tsp
  12. olive oil 2Tbsp
  13. Fresh coriander leaves 2Tbsp
  14. Ingredients for assembling:-
  15. Tortilla medium size 6No
  16. Sour cream 1/4 Cup
  17. tomato ketchup 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. HEAT A PAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT AND ADD OIL.
  2. ADD CUMIN SEEDS ,WHOLE CORIANDER SEEDS AND HALDI TO HOT OIL.SAUTE FOR A SECOND.
  3. ADD BOILED GREEN PEAS TO THE MIXTURE.SAUTE FOR 1-2 MINUTES.
  4. ADD MASHED POTATOES TO THE PEAS MIXTURE.
  5. ADD RED CHILI,AMCHUR AND GARAM MASALA POWDER.
  6. ADD SALT AND DRY MEHTI TO POTATO MIXTURE. MIX EVERYTHING NICELY AND TURN OFF THE FLAME.
  7. ADD FRESH CORIANDER AND MIX NICELY.KEEP ASIDE TO COOL DOWN.
  8. PLACE MEDIUM SIZE TORTILLA ON A BOARD AND APPLY TOMATO KETCHUP ALL OVER.
  9. OVER TOMATO KETCHUP APPLY SOUR CREAM.
  10. PLACE POTATO FILLING ON ONE SIDE OF TORTILLA AND SPREAD A BIT.
  11. TIGHTLY ROLL THE TORTILLA FROM ONE END TO ANOTHER.LIGHTLY PRESS THE ROLL WITH YOUR HANDS.
  12. HEAT NON -STICK GRILL PAN OVER MEDIUM HEAT AND APPLY OIL ALL OVER .
  13. GRILL TORTILLAS SEME SIDE DOWN FOR 3-4 MINUTES OVER MEDIUM TO LOW HEAT.
  14. WITH THE HELP OF BRUSH APPLY OIL ON ALL TORTILLAS.
  15. FLIP THE TORTILLAS GENTLY AND GRILL AGAIN FOR 3-4 MINUTES.
  16. YOUR SAMOSA TAQUITOS ARE READY ,REMOVE FROM THE PAN AND SERVE.
