Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 onion thinly sliced
  2. 3 tbsp white spring onions chopped
  3. 1/4 cup + 3 tbsp green spring onions chopped
  4. 1.5 tbsp olive oil
  5. 250g bread flour
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 1 tsp instant yeast
  8. 1/2 cup lukewarm water

Instructions

  1. HEAT OIL, SAUTE ONION AND WHITE PART OF SPRING ONION UNTIL CARAMELIZED
  2. ALLOW TO COOL
  3. IN A BOWL, ADD FLOUR, YEAST,SALT, GREEN SPRING ONION AND CARAMELIZED ONIONS AND MIX WELL
  4. ADD LUKEWARM WATER TO FLOUR MIXTURE
  5. KNEAD SOFT DOUGH
  6. COVER AND LET IT REST FOR 1-2 HOURS IN WARM PLACE
  7. DEFLATE DOUGH AND GENTLY FOLD
  8. DUST SURFACE WITH FLOUR AND GENTLY FOLD, DO NOT KNEAD
  9. PLACE THE DOUGH IN BAKING PAN, LET IT REST FOR 30 MINUTES
  10. GARNISH WITH GREEN SPRING ONIONS
  11. SPRINKLE LITTLE SALT
  12. PLACE IN BAKING TRAY FILLED WITH HOT WATER
  13. BAKE IN PREHEATED OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES AT 200 DEG
  14. TAKE OUT THE BAKING PAN FILLED WITH WATER
  15. BAKE FOR 12-15 MINUTES AT REDUCED TEMPERATURE AT 180 UNTIL DONE
  16. ALLOW TO COOL FOR 15 MINUTES
  17. DEMOULD AND COOL ON WIRE RACK
  18. CUT AND SERVE WITH CHEESE, BUTTER OR SOUP
