ABOUT Sabudana vada with chutney RECIPE

A very authentic filling and healthy ,sabudana vadas , evening tea time snack .Gudness of boiled potatoes salt as the only seasoning with some green chillies ,fried to perfection.Served with a creamy green chutney mixed with curd ,a typical maharastrian serve.Enjoy for morning or evening snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 200 grams sabudana soaked overnight
  2. 3 medium boiled potatoes
  3. 1 cup of roasted peanuts crush
  4. 1 to2 green chillies chopped
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Some corriander chopped
  7. Oil to deep fry

Instructions

  1. FRESH ROAST PEANUTS,AND RUB AND SHAKE OUT THE FLAKES
  2. CHECK OVERNIGHT SOAKED SABUDANA DRY AND WELL SWOLLEN,TAKE 3 BOILED POTATOES TOO
  3. PEEL BOILED POTATOES HERE
  4. CRUSH COARSE THE ROASTED PEANUTS
  5. HAVE ALL INGREDIENTS READY POTATOES,SABUDANA,PEANUTS CRUSH,GREEN CHILLI,CILANTRO ,SALT &OIL TO FRY
  6. HAVE ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A PLATE AND MIX THEM WELL,MASHING UP THE BOILED POTATOES
  7. ADD SALT TO TASTE NOW ABOUT 1TSPN AND QUARTER
  8. NOW MAKE A MIXTURE KNEADING LIKE A DOUGH READY
  9. GREASING YOUR PALM A LITTLE TAKE PORTIONS OC THIS SABUDANA DOUGH AND MAKE TIGHT BALLS
  10. HAVE THESE SABUDANA VADAS READY IN A PLATE AND PUT IN FRIDGE FOR AT LEAST 10 MIN BEFORE FRYING
  11. HEATED OIL IN DEEP KADHAI AND DROP THE VADAS IN HOT OIL,REDUCING FLAME TO MEDIUM ,THOUGH
  12. FRY TO A NICE GOLDEN BROWN AND START REMOVING FROM OIL,MAKE SURE THEYRE DONE TURNING SIDES WELL
  13. REMOVE EACH WELL DONE SABUDANA VADA IN A PLATE
  14. ORGANISE SOME CHUTNEY STAPLE OF MAHARASHTRIAN STYLE,GREEN CHUTNEY WITH CURD ADDED
  15. MIX THE USUAL GREEN CHUTNEY CORRIANDER GREEN CHILLI WITH FRESH CREAMY CURD WELL
